Small Business Tax Incentives for Health Insurance

Specifically, this legislation will:

• Provide incentives for companies with 25 employees or less, which represents more than 90 percent of businesses in the state.

• Provide that qualifying employees health insurance premium expenditures incurred by a small business may be deducted 200% of their actual cost.
